016 - 12th of Nissan - Naftali & Adar

Naftali is the tribe of movement, grace, and swift expression.

Adar is the month of joy. Reversal. Hidden light revealed.

And together, they offer us a final blessing for this twelve-day journey:

You don’t have to stay stuck.

You’re allowed to move forward.

And joy can be the thing that opens the door.

Chassidus teaches: Simcha poretz geder—joy breaks through walls.

It’s not just a spiritual idea. It’s physiological. Emotional. Real.

Joy loosens what’s been held tight.

It dissolves shame. It opens space.

It moves you from Mitzrayim—your internal narrow places—into the expansion that’s been waiting for you.

Just like Pesach is about leaving those narrow places behind, Adar gives us the tool to do it: simcha.

Joy becomes the key.

📓 Day 12 Journaling Prompt: Joy in Motion

Take a few quiet moments with these questions. Let the answers rise without overthinking:

  • Where in my life am I being invited to move forward—even if I don’t feel fully ready?
  • What does “joy” feel like in my body—not as a concept, but as a physical experience?
  • What parts of my life are already changing beneath the surface, even if I can’t see it yet?
  • Where do I feel stuck—and how might joy be the thing that opens the gate?
  • What would it mean to leave my own personal Mitzrayim behind—not through pressure, but through presence and movement?

🎉 Bonus Practice: Do something small and joyful today. Let it be playful, embodied, and free.
