017 - BONUS - 13th of Nissan - Levi

We’ve reached the final day of our 12+1 journey. And no, it’s not a mistake.

After twelve days of personal alignment—twelve tribes, twelve pathways—we come to Levi, the tribe that didn’t bring their own offering… because they were tasked with carrying everyone else’s.

Today isn’t about adding more.

It’s about becoming a vessel for everything.

This year, because Pesach begins on a Sunday, we burn chametz on Friday morning—the same day we recite the Nasi for Levi.

Chametz represents ego, puffiness, the parts of us that inflate or resist.

Levi represents service. Not performance, not perfection.

Just presence. Purpose. Alignment.

Burning chametz on Nasi Levi is a cosmic reminder that to step into true service—the kind that brings Geulah—we have to let go of what’s blocking the light.

The proving. The performing. The control.

We clear space, so something real can land.

Levi didn’t inherit land. They didn’t build territory.

They were scattered through the people, embedded in every community, tasked with one thing:

To carry holiness into the world.

They remind us that service isn’t small.
It’s not self-erasure.

It’s embodying the Geulah paradigm.

It’s creating a dirah b’tachtonim—a home for Hashem in this world, in our lives, in our schedules, in our words, in our relationships.

It’s living as an example—not a performance, but a permission.

To show what life can look like when it’s aligned with purpose and divine light.
